Shelter Jacks
ISO Shelter Jacking System
CIGNYS has developed several jack systems that are specifically designed to lift and level military shelters. The jacks can be provided with Float Pads for soft soil conditions or casters for shelter transport at low speeds. Both motor operated and manual crank versions have been designed. Load capacities of up to 10,000 pounds per jack are available.
Winch Style Jacking System
CIGNYS has developed a winch style jack system that is specifically designed to lift and level military shelters. The jacks can be provided with Float Pads for soft soil conditions or casters for shelter transport at low speeds. The lifting is accomplished by a precision gear winch that incorporates a load brake into the design. The winch provides both lower cost and lower weight for mobile applications. The cable can be routed for either direct lift or 2:1 ratio for heavier loads.
Motor Drive Options
The Jacking Systems can be provided with motor operation from various electrical sources. Integral motor design or powered drill options can speed the leveling and lifting operations. Use of a planetary gearbox reduces the space required and also permits manual operation without the need to release a brake mechanism.
Hydraulic lifting options can be provided as integral linear actuators or add-on systems for shelter or pallet units. The integral cylinder lifting system utilizes our proven hydraulic cylinders with built-in pilot operated check valves. The low profile lifting systems can be added to existing designs in order to improve mobility operations.
The Load Wheel System utilizes three 6 inch diameter by 5 inch wide load wheels in each bogey. Load capacity is 6500 pounds per bogey and they are designed with 9 inches of lift. Load wheels have 3/4″ thick polyurethane molded-on tread and aluminum hub for reduced weight. Each wheel is provided with two sealed precision ball bearings.
