Up to Three Ton Capacity

Bridge crane kits provide an economical and quick way of acquiring your own modern “factory built” bridge crane Assembly Machines for the handling of heavy loads. Units can be installed on parallel I-beams or wide flanged beams. These bridge cranes kits employ the use of cast iron wheels containing sealed precision bearings. “Safety- Lug” type end plates are standard on each end truck, acting as railsweeps and preventing the unit from falling in case of wheel mounting fatigue.

Each end truck is adjustable to fit standard ASTM I-beams and wide flanged beams ranging from 6″ to 12″. Units will accept span beams up to 30ft long, varied in size from 6″ to 12″. Applications from 500 lb. to 6,000 lb. capacity can be assembled from these kits. Each kit is complete with two end truck assemblies containing a total of eight load wheels.

Accessory items for these kits include “span beam end stops” and “capacity decals” for your application when required by “O.S.H.A.” and “Industrial Safety Requirements” for overhead bridge cranes.

Models with Side Guide Rollers

These units are supplied with side guide rollers and non-flanged cast iron, universal tread wheels containing sealed precision bearings. The side guide rollers located at all four corners of each end truck will keep the unit parallel on the beam rail. This allows for easier movement of loads up to the maximum rated capacity of your bridge crane assembly. Each end truck is adjustable for 6″ to 12″ size beams without the use of special shims. Both models are designed as a bottom running kit only.

Models with Flanged Wheels

This economical bridge crane kit comes standard with cast iron, universal tread flanged wheels containing sealed precision bearings. The wheel flanges help to align the end trucks along the runway beams. Each end truck is adjustable for 6″ to 12″ size beams without the use of special shims. These models can be used as a top or bottom running kit if required. Standard 2 and 3-ton models fit 3.33″ to 5.25″ flange widths. Standard half-ton and 1-ton models fit rails to 5.08″ flange widths. Add (-1) to the part number for beam flange widths of 5″-7″ or (-2) for 7″-9″ flange widths.

The approximate weight range of these kits is 280-300 lb.
